Powerful plants grow free in our gardens:

  1. Dandelion. Rich in Vitamin A, C, K, iron, calcium, magnesium, manganese. Its root and leaves supposedly have active ingredients helping to fight cancer cells. Also being used for treating acne, eczema, liver damage, anemia, balance cholesterol, blood sugar.
  • 2. Common Purslane. Packed with healthy fats as Omega-3 Acids, Vitamin A, C, Beta-Carotene. Helps the heart function, balances blood pressure. Known also as a diuretic, has anti-inflammatory properties, can help in healing eczema, osteoporosis.
  • 3. Nettle. Has incredible nutritional value (contains Vitamin A, C, B2, B3, Calcium, Iron, Magnesium, Potassium, Sodium, essential Amino, and Fatty Acids). Very good for treating anemia, immune system support, arthritis, urination, and prostate problems.
  • 4 Stinking Goosefoot or Lamb’s Quarters. Main nutrients are: Vitamin A, B, C, K, Iron,Calcium, Manganese, Phosphorus, Potassium, natural source of protein. Known as eye and skin health support, helps to treat osteoporosis, helps to balance cholesterol, blood sugar level, cells regeneration.
  • 5. Garden Plantain. Being known for pain relief, wound healing has anti-inflammatory properties. The best time of the year to harvest the plants is the springtime. Use fresh water with some lemon juice or a pinch of bicarbonate soda to remove any unwanted residues off. Just soak the plants in the water for about 10 min and rinse them well after.

Fresh raw plants own the most nutritional value.
